Default $100 PLO8: Cryptologic is unbelievable tight

Tonight I played 3 tables at the cryptologic network. The VP$IP of each table was lower than 30 percent and PFR was about 8 percent. Most of the big pots developed only if one monster hand came up against another. Is it worth to play in such games at all?

Here comes the only big pot I played. Villain is new at the table. Therefore I am not sure he plays as tight as the others. I pushed the flop to avoid any difficult turn decision. Moreover villain has only 1/2 stack. Would you play it differently?

Default Re: $100 PLO8: Cryptologic is unbelievable tight

In general I think this is a good line. One reason I *might* play this hand differently is that a [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] on the turn creates a bluff opportunity for you; by going all-in on the flop you lose that potential. But going all-in you avoid being forced to fold if opponent pots it when a high card comes on the turn. So I think it's fine.
