Default BEAT: My 3 year-old son\'s song lyric comprehension

Yesterday, as I was sitting out front of my neighbors house with them, my son, who is just over 3, rides by on his bike and starts singing a song he has heard daddy play and sing numerous times;

"We're going down, down to the merry go round,
we should've been going to the swingset"

It's Fallout Boy.

We're going down down in an earlier round
And sugar we're going out swinging

Or something like that.

Prolly for the best.

If he knew the real lyrics, you'd have to beat him.

We're no strangers to love
You know the rules and so do I
A full commitment's what I'm thinking of
You wouldn't get this from any other guy

I just wanna tell you how I'm feeling
Gotta make you understand

Never gonna give you up
Never gonna let you down
Never gonna run around and desert you
Never gonna make you cry
Never gonna say goodbye
Never gonna tell a lie and hurt you
