Default Probably a naive WSOP question..

Do the "superstar" players.. Negreanu, Greenstein, Moneymaker yada yada yada stand in line for 3 hours to buy in for a WSOP event seat?

Or do they have their own special line?

diamond card holders have there own special line.

aside from that, when I waited for 2 hrs on day 1, tj cloutier cut all the way in front of the line with no wait. he was accompanied by a floor manager.

I am not very surprised. But that really, really pisses me off.

I may have seen him at the craps tables at different times to you... but the average bet I've seen him make is $25 on the line and $130 across.

Hardly a high roller.

Cloutier is a worst a Diamond player.

He playes to his bankroll, and when he wins an event, it all goes in action.

If I were in charge, Cloutier waits in NO LINES!!!!!

i saw phil ivey get knocked out of the 5K last night and walk directly to the cage (past the huge lines) to register for today's event.

i also saw the tournament director kick every player out of the tournament area during a break, but allowed phil hellmuth to stay and stretch with a masseuse.

the wsop could do a much better job making EVERYTHING the same for EVERY player in each tournament. it is unfair that only some players need to wait in line, or play in the hot and smelly tent, or vacate the tourney area when others don't have to follow the same rules. hopefully things improve as the tourney continues...
