Default 25/50 JJ, Turn hand into a bluff, kind of unnecessarily

Villain in this hand is 20/18/3 over 800 hands. Seems pretty standard TAG so far, but seems to call too much. Doesn't 3bet super light, but I'm sure it's decently light like everyone that plays these stakes nowadays. This is the hand that transpired RIGHT before mine (where he snaps off a bluff), so take from it what you will. Villain is winner here.

Normally, I would probably check behind hoping to complete my draw or snap off a river bluff (evaluate river) But I figured with the previous hand's meta that he knows I know that he can call down light, yet I shove anyway.

Leveling or spew?

i dont think thats spew, but you have to be aware that he will probably never fold a better hand. you have decent equity if called and you protect your hand so i think its ok to play this way sometimes, but i would mix it up with checking behind turn and folding to a river bet if you dont improve.

also you have to consider that you raised an UTG limper and he 3-bet oop in my experience thats more often than not a solid hand.
