Default NL100: AKo - faces allin

Villain is 60/8/2.5 over 115 hands. First hand I was involved with villain but he has been playing most every hand and betting or raising alot of flops. Hand not shown down many hands.

Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $1 BB (9 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

MP2 ($169.95)
MP3 ($42.15)
CO ($31.50)
Button ($96.05)
SB ($50.25)
Hero ($122)
UTG ($35)
UTG+1 ($37.70)
MP1 ($80.60)

Preflop: Hero is BB with A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
5 folds, CO calls $1, 1 fold, SB completes, Hero raises to $7, CO calls $5, SB folds.

Flop: ($14) T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero bets $10, CO raises to $25.5 (All-In), Hero ???

After leading this flop is this an automatic call? Do we assume he has a made hand? If we put him on a pair do you fold or call. Is it time to make him show a hand?

How would you play differently?

any thoughts/comments on this hand is appreciated. I have been having trouble with AK in these spots and any advice on how to play this is welcomed.

I'm snap calling this based on what you have seen from him.

vs a 60/8 shortstack I call here getting more than 3:1. You are going to either have the best hand or catch up at least that often.

There seems to be something wrong PF here - you raise to $7, but CO only has to call $5 after limping for $1. Anyways, his open-limp-call from the CO is often a sign of a bad player, and bad players will push AQ or AJ here plenty because they actually think they're trapping PF.

If you want to fold if he pushes, raise less to something like $7-8. If you want to call the push, raise to $14. This makes your decision when he pushes much easier. You know have clearer odds for what to do if and when he pushes.

Managing your bets like this to make later streets easier is something that i learnt from tournaments, but when facing a shortstack the same principles apply.

Since he is not a regular, he won't know if you regularly cbet half the pot or the full pot, so i don't think changing your betsize in this situation will give off any reads. You've only got to be careful if you're playing someone who has played against you a lot before
