June Goals Thread

Well, since starting the last one didn't doomswitch me (as some predicted it would, proving that Pooh>MilesDyson. Except at poker...) I'll kick this month off as well.

1) Champaign Supernova: 15k vpp's away after a ludicrous 55k in May. Play enough to clear two $1500 bonii - 50k or so hands.

2) Start to work a few sessions of 2-3 tables of 5/T - 10/20 into the rotation again.

3) Practice slightly better table selection at 2/4-3/6, be quicker to close tables that turn really ugly.

4) Recognize when I'm running slightly bad/missing a lot of flops and adjust accordingly to the table's perception of me as over-aggro.

5) Play a few more tourneys, incl Sunday mils.

6) With above mentioned bonii, +5k month.

7) Continue working out, lose that last 5 [censored] pounds to get under 200.

8) Read more, esp. non-poker.

9) Buy a condo

10) Procrastinate less, bill more at work

2) Own my exams.
3) Get my Bachelor in Political Sciences cum laude.

and most importantly, keep running hot

1) Play more than 15.000 hands of poker, LHE and NL combined.

2) Finish reading stox' book.

3) Post at least 100 poker strategy posts.

4) Not kill myself because of my job.

June will probably be the only month for the rest of my life in which I'll get to play essentially full-time, so I'm really going to try not to suck like i usually do

High ambition level - Get rolled for 5/T and 400NL

Medium ambition level - Play 50K+ hands at current levels.

Low ambition level, that still makes this a good month - Anything over 2000$ so I can cover bills and expenses.

Feel your pain bro, been there too ... worst part is, that I am going to my first jobinterview since quitting my old job over a year ago (went back to college and finished it while living of mediocre poker skills)
