Re: $16 - QJo shortstacked
i imagine you'd have to call very close to ATC, something like 80% maybe?

Re: $16 - QJo shortstacked
I'm playing 3.40s, but shouldn't we fold if we think UTG/CO are solid? SNG Whiz with opponents set to tight says UTG push 44+,A7+,A4s+,KJ+,KTs+ (top 17%) If CO is good, I think he should call very tight something like 77+,AJ+. Random CO is definitely much wider than this making it an easy call.
So, UTG would we push a little tighter than 44+,A7+,A4s+,KJ+,KTs+? And CO should we call somewhere around 77+,AJ+? |

Re: $16 - QJo shortstacked
dwigt :
UTG is pushing probably like 75% of his hands as he will get hit by the blinds next hand. Knowing this, and being almost in the same situation, I'd say UTG+1 calls with 20-25%. |

Re: $16 - QJo shortstacked
Thanks Rex. This makes sense now: the ICM-EV for folding overstates true EV for foldling for UTG/UTG+1.
