Re: how to play TT in this spot???
Is this a B & M tourney? Almost has to be with that absurd vig. Low buy-in B & M tourneys are soft. How many spots do they pay?
Obv. you don't have a lot of FE. Few players open AA or KK for 5 BBs. A reasonable range for a live tournament would be QQ thru 88, AK thru AT and maybe KQ. You're 55/45 against this range ... 54/46 if we strip KQ ... I'd say push and suck out if he's got you beat. |

Re: how to play TT in this spot???
TT is one of the hardest hands to play towards the end of a tourny, i have lost so many tournys with 10 10, what i have found is that you have to no where you stand with this kind of hand. I would probably re-raise preflop here. Lets look at it this way you got the flop you wanted and he is still betting into you, if you re-raise here your very committed to the hand. He could have AK JJ QQ here. Its really up to you at this point if you wanna go all the way with 10 10, which i find is a mistake.

Re: how to play TT in this spot???
How much would you raise preflop? If I make it 2000 I commited over 1/4 of my stack. What if he calls and bets another 2000 on this flop? Would that be an easy fold? - I would be getting just under 2:1.
I think if I call or reraise, I have to shove it on this flop. I might be beaten anyway, but there are very few flops with a better texture for me. Yes, it's a B&M - 18 spots paid |
