Default 122K hand checkup of \"Pairs\" at 200nl in PT.

Whats up with 33/88 ...and alot of the only marginally +bb/100 pairs?

fwiw, i run at 22/18/3 for my last 122K hands at 200nl.
if a loose late position raiser raises, i turbo muck/3bet with small pairs. usually mucking. 3betting with them maybe 10% of the time or less. Unless villain is particularly spewy. But against most 2p2 tags i fold.

against your typical 2p2 type raiser utg i am calling from the blinds, or pretty much all positions with 22-88..sometimes i 3bet 77/88 aswell. Im assuming its definately standard to call a 2p2 tag in position when he raises utg with a small pair?

What do my other stats for pocket pairs look like? normal? what about the winrates? some of the winrates of these pocket pairs seem reallly low. as if they aren't as profitable as people make them out to be.

well for starters, variance is huge in these sorts of comparisons

mine look similar, only 70k hands. low pairs are around .3BB/hand as well. 22 and 44 are in the red bigtime but thats variance i guess.
.3ptbb/hand is still 30ptbb/100. that's a lot imo.

Looks all good to me. Your losing with 88 or 33 can just be the result of 2 or 3 bad beats. I think you can safely assume it's not a leak but variance.

And well, your pocket pairs ARE really profitable. You're running 132 PTBB/100 with them!

fwiw, my vp$ip and pfr% are a little lower (85 and 67) but my bb/hand is very similar (this is over 60Kish hands from 100nl to 1000nl, with the bulk at 100 and 400). i'm typically folding low pairs (22-66) to a raise unless we're deepstacked or i have at least one caller ahead of me (or i think the raiser is particularly likely to stack off if i hit my set)
