NL400 6max AK OOP -standard ?
Sorry for not using a Converter, but my PT-database is not on this Computer.
Effective Stacks 400$ Villain is 27/8/2 (UTG) after about 100 Hands Hero is in SB playing a 22/18/2,5 Style for about 50 Hands on this table. Not much action till now. Pre: Villain(UTG) raises to 16$, Hero raises to 54$ (AKo), Villain calls. Flop is KQ6r - Hero bets 80$, Villain min-raises to 160$, Hero calls. Turn is Q (now all rainbow): Hero checks, Villain checks River is 2: Hero pushes Is this a boring standard hand ? My thoughts on this hand were, that I would like to push him off AK or maybe AA, but didn't felt OK, b/c he never ever fold AA in this spot. So would a smaller value bet a better decision - If I bet 100$ I have to call a push anyway ? |

Uhm so river was a value bet, not a bluff? In that case why not just make an actual value bet and b/c?

Re: NL400 6max AK OOP -standard ?
So we're bluffing to fold out AA, and stop a split with AK?

Re: NL400 6max AK OOP -standard ?
3-bet push flop since you are oop.
As played, I'd check the river and hope to catch a bluff, mostly from JT. I can't see what you would get value from by betting except from a rare KJ. |

[/ QUOTE ] I don't think he has JT or KJ here in this spot. He is 27/8 - which means UTG he raises a very small part of his cards and never ever calls a 3-bet. So imho he has TT/JJ/AA/AK and maybe 77-99. |

Re: NL400 6max AK OOP -standard ?
I think folding flop can't be too bad against this guy.
I think on the river I'd c/c or c/f. Doesn't seem to be any value to betting the river. |
