Spamalot - worth seeing?

Wife and I will be at the Wynn in July - anyone seen the show yet? She, like most women, is not a big Python fan - so if it's a bad idea to take her, I'd rather spend the $$ on another show....

yea i saw it just a couple of months ago on vacation to NYC with my parents, it was really good but if you haven't seen monty pythion and the hol grail u won't get some of the stuff in the show, it is enjoyable either way though, i think they are better shows but if ur goin for a comedy spamalot is one of the best

I've seen it twice on Broadway. If your wife isn't a huge fan then go see something else. It's very insidery...and honestly, if you are a fan of python, then you may get bored or not see in the point in seeing unknown actors doing the sketches that you know by heart.

It's fun and all...but i got very bored.

Saw it 2 weeks ago. I generally dont like monty python humor, but i thought it was pretty funny. Seeing J. Peterman as the main actor was funny.

I saw it a few weeks ago in Indy. Would absolutely go see it again. It's DEFINITELY not original material from start to finish. But there's plenty of original material mixed in with pretty good old material that it kept me laughing throughout. I recommend.

Hilarious. Loved it. Fiancee who is not a Python fan liked it, did not love it. My parents also saw it a few weeks prior, neither are Python fans, loved it. I think it's one of the funniest things I've ever seen in musical theatre. Def worth it.
