WPT Bellagio 5 Diamond Thread
Tonight's broadcast is the final WPT tournament that took place in 2006, featuring a party involved in the lawsuit against the WPT, one of the lawsuit's leading critics, and 4 other people. The final table features:

Did Hachem bolt from the lawsuit group, or did he simply consider it unnecessary to boycott the WPT events?

[/ QUOTE ] he's still a plaintiff, and he plays. i don't think there was any rule in place that if you were a plaintiff you had to boycott. edit: what's important is that you put a man to the test for all his chips. also, that you dig the hole, but the branches on top, et cetera.

The plaintiffs contend that the WPT has a monopoly on the big events they need to sustain their living, so theoretically you should see them playing *only* WPT events.

Negreanu was hilarious on that first all-in.
"I know you have Queens", "I know I am behind", "At least I have outs", "I know you have to have me beat". Then magically, a surprised look and ..."I knew you had nothing", "he did that before with 72 so I knew he was bluffing"
