WSOP SnG - Advice/Strategy?
I won a seat into a live WSOP main event satellite. It a $1200 buy-in, 10 player SnG with 1st place taking it all...$10k seat plus $2k cash.
I'm not sure of the structure but it probably t2000-3000 starting chips, blinds starting at 25/25 and increasing every 15 minutes, no antes. Should I play my normal TAG SnG game early until the blinds are worth stealing or go into LAG accumulator mode, pushing every small edge? I tried to search for shootout strategy, because this is like a shootout FT...winner takes all...but didn't find any real information. If I get to HU, what's a decent chop? I'm slightly more interested in the cash, so I was thinking of asking for the $2k from the tourney and another $3k cash for the seat. TIA. Rod |

Re: WSOP SnG - Advice/Strategy?
If you chop, try to chop based on the size of the stacks and/or what kind of skill advantage you feel you have over your opponent (i.e. if you have 90% of the chips at the table and he has 10% of the chips, it would be silly to take the $5,000 you are suggesting).
