2/4 K,K ...i dont understand
Villian is luckykimchi13 and apparently hes a very good player but my friend who was watching some tables thought he was a high stakes palyer donking it around.
150 BB stacks Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $4 BB (5 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver) Button ($231.60) SB ($600.80) BB ($771.30) Hero ($851.20) MP ($390) Preflop: Hero is UTG with K, K. Hero raises to $16, 2 folds, SB calls $14, 1 fold. Flop: ($36) 9, 2, 4 [color=#0000FF](2 players)</font> SB checks, Hero bets $26, SB calls $26. Turn: ($88) A [color=#0000FF](2 players)</font> SB bets $4, Hero calls $4. River: ($96) J [color=#0000FF](2 players)</font> SB checks, Hero bets $60, SB raises to $352. Final Pot: $508 I didn't raise turn because i thought his bet was asking to raise turn. I think river is super standard by me because he cant expect me to bet river...but wtf?? |

Re: 2/4 K,K ...i dont understand
I guess we have to bet the river...its close to me. I'm not sure if I get looked up by anything but a hand that beats us so I would just show my hand down, especially with the sketchiness of the min bet on the turn.
Super easy river fold now, obv. |

Why are you betting the river? I am not being result oriented, there is no place for a valuebet here.

Re: 2/4 K,K ...i dont understand
Why would he raise a 9 here? 35 got there, aces up has you,any ace beats you (if he called flop with gutshot A3,A5), J9 has you.
The only believable hands that he would turn into a bluff is pocket tens and pocket Qs, which is really really a stretch to be making an elaborate river bluff. |
