I go up to two tables, when two games of 10/20 hilo are going on stars...never, ever more than that. Generally, you can click fold almost immediately, and if you're going to play, you quickly look and see all the relevant cards. It's pretty rare that you get two hands at the same time where you need to keep track of lots of cards.
Can get a little frantic, though. Never multitable stud and stud hilo, or stud and razz. Suicide. |

I actually enjoy playing one table of stud and one of stud/8. I'll usually play different limits to help me keep track.
I play two tables all the time. I can't play more than that, even hold'em. |

4 and 5 at Holdem...but I'm only comfortable with 2 at Stud High.

I do 5 to 7 stud games. You must have AT LEAST 2 monitors (I have 4) to do this.

If I didn't...
Learned stud on the east coast, far better at it than hold em. Obviously you will occasionally miss a card, but it is better to win (A-15%) on 6 tables than (A) on 1 |

I'm 8-tabling on a regular basis now, although this is generally at $2/$4, with a few $3/$6 tables thrown in depending on the table.
I just bought two new LCDs so now I have 4, and depending on how things go, would like to move up to more tables, but I'd really have to be using a HUD to do that. For now I use the other monitors for Pokertrackers Gametime+. Sample size is still small, but with PT GT+ it's making multi-tabling a lot easier, and more profitable. |
