Default 6max 50NL: JJ overpair, am I getting bluffed here?

I seem to get minraised on the turn a lot, so detailed comments are very welcome. Button is 64/4/3.4 over 60 hands. My plan was to call any non-[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] river, is this all right?

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (4 handed) handconverter.com

UTG ($142.55)
Button ($39.30)
Hero ($44.25)
BB ($22.90)

Preflop: Hero is SB with J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
1 fold, Button calls $0.50, Hero raises to $2, 1 fold, Button calls $1.50.

Flop: ($4.50) 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero bets $3, Button calls $3.

Turn: ($10.50) 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero bets $6, Button raises to $12, Hero calls $6.

River: ($34.50) 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero checks, Button bets $22.3 (All-In), Hero folds.

Final Pot: $56.80

I shove the turn, it is possible you run against a set.But laying down JJ here is hard..

And why do we prefer to push the turn instead of calling (or folding, even)?

Pot the flop and bet bigger on the turn and you commit yourslf to the hand and it plays itself. No way I'm folding an overpair against an aggro player who plays 2/3 of his hands, especially only 80bb deep.

I bet a bit more on flop and turn...maybe $3.15 and $7.25 respectively.

Villain seeems awfully loose pre and very aggro post and it's very, very hard to assign a range here for a {flop call/turn minraise}.

Actually, I don't have a clue here...minrasies can mean anything, but the push at the end looks a bit suspicious to me. You are being laid almost 3/1 at the end and I'm not convinced this aggro villain has you beat >25% of the time.

Just IMO.

I dont like the call, to many scare cards can come on the river, it is push or fold.I like to push here But I understand why people would lay it down.It depends on villain.

[/ QUOTE ]By that reasoning I can push preflop, that makes the hand really play itself.

[/ QUOTE ]I find the call flop - minc/r turn line quite scary; we only have 60 hands so I really don't know how aggro and loose he is.

That's totally different and you know it. We have an overpair on a favourable flop and only 80bb, if he has a set then good luck to him.

He been dealt 60 hands and played 40 of them, that's plenty enough to mark him as loose. You can't look for an excuse to fold here it's just weak play.

I've actually been calling people down here recently because I feel as if I've lost some of my handreading.
A lot of players at 50NL love to play this line as a monster or as a bluff. I don't think there's any value to shoving here because the only way you're ahead is if he's a maniac or bluffing. I c/c him down and make a note on what the turn minraise means

note that I don't think this line is valuable longrun, but if you find yourself always confused in these situations its longrun +EV to be a bit of a station to get a read.
