Looks like a blocking bet. I'd raise more on the turn and value raise river.

Re: ($12) Flopped set on a drawy board, BB minbetting all the way
How did bb get his chip lead? I may be tempted to push turn. He cant (or at least shouldnt!) have a higher set so only real worry is QJ. He could also have KT and think hes the "dogs danglies" by milking his 2 pair. He may have AQ also and think hes ahead. Just to be safe i think id have t call river and hope to see his hand.

I would raise preflop.
I would raise closer to pot on the turn, that raise is pretty small. I would value shove river. |

With the raise, are you mainly looking to hit your set? And if the flop comes rainbow < 10, against 2-3 players what action are you taking in EP? LP?

[/ QUOTE ] its pretty read dependent/situation dependent but TT is a very strong hand and is far far ahead of standard calling ranges in a 12 dollar sng for one raise. hitting a set is nice but you can play TT for a big pot simply for overpair value in a lot of HU pots in low limit sngs as well. board texture matters a lot for your last question. |
