50NL fullhouse facing aggression from a nit
Villain is 16/0/0 over ~40 hands.

The flush seems unlikely given the way the hand played out. I'm having a really hard time assigning him many possible holdings given his line. Maybe AA? 77 is unlikely since he'd need the last 2 in the deck. Comments on all streets vs. this villain are appreciated, but I'm mostly concerned with whether to shove or just call when he raises. |

Yeah 40 hands isn't very many. He could easily have AQ or A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]X[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. Shove.

Re: 50NL fullhouse facing aggression from a nit
Sorry, I forgot to add that earlier he claimed to have folded bottom set to my pot-committing raise in a multiway pot (I overcalled Tc9c OTB after UTG raised and villain called), flop came QJ8r and UTG bet 3/4 pot into 3 others, I raised pretty strong for half my stack and he tanked and claimed to have folded 88)
So yeah, he's a weak/tight nit |

Re: 50NL fullhouse facing aggression from a nit
There are ten available combinations of AA/QQ/77/A4, which are the only hands you have to fear. By contrast, there are nine combinations of just AQ alone. Realistically, how often does villain have AA/QQ? Even if you discount hands like A7 entirely, I think you can easily justify a shove.

Re: 50NL fullhouse facing aggression from a nit
Villain being 0 PFR over 40 hands isn't enough to convince me he doesn't raise AA or QQ preflop. Throw those out, and it's only four combinations of hands that beat us.
Again, shove. |

I was just about to post that Hero needs to c/r the turn. Then I saw that OP was asking about the river....

This guy isn't semibluffing on a draw unless its like TPTK+FD, but even then he has good equity vs us and we're not really forcing a mistake by raising. Usually if he calls we're drawing to 4 outs best case scenario. With something better than bottom 2 against a passive villain, I might like a c/r. Here I think a bet and c/c are both ok, not sure which is better. |

i'd 3-bet the flop probably. or lead a blank turn and river is an easy push given preflop
