early favorite for \"nit of the year\"
A friend in Vegas sees this hand two weeks ago - 10/20 NL game, pretty good size stacks at table. Lamont Jordan from Raiders is playing with about 30K, drinking, and clearly willing to throw his chips away (as you'll see). Guy across from table has 15K. Jordan puts hands behind head as cards dealt and says "I'm playing this hand blind." Guy across table raises to $100 or so and Jordan says "all in - ask anyone, I didnt look." Guy responds, "I know you didnt, but I'm not playing for all my chips vs. a random hand" and turns over QQ. He can make $15K by playing QQ against a hand in the dark, but that aint good enough odds for him.
I cant believe a guy like this would end up in a casino in the first place. |
