Black speedskater represents his race so awesomely!
I didnt see a topic on this, but what a [censored] douchebag. He refused to do team pursuit, and his reasoning was along the lines of "I got myself here, Im not relying on the white man to win me a medal."
He refused media requests for interviews all week, he's cocky as [censored], and then, he wins the 1000m, and when they interview him he is a complete [censored] to boot, rocking his sideways ballcap seconds after crossing the finish line. With great answers such as: "I ran a good race." "No it doesnt mean anything that I am the first black athlete to win a winter olympic medal" and "No, Im not angry" in an angry voice when asked if he was angry Today we salute you, mr I ruin the spirit of the olympics douchey black guy! All comments appreciated, btw, Im not racist, I just thought this guy, as an ambassador for people of his race as far as winter sports go, was a complete jackass douche.

I saw his interview, and I completely disagree. I can only imagine how obnoxious it'd be for everyone to ask, "So, how does it feel to be the first black to do XYZ?"

The stupid part is how they call him the first "African-American" to win Olympic gold when he is in fact the first black athlete from any nation to win. So stupid we leave out important information in the effort to be PC.

Vonetta Flowers won a gold in women's bobsled in the 2002 games and was the first black athlete to win a gold medal.

Vonetta was thinking about boycotting the games because she had to sit in the back of the bobsleigh.
