Default $0.10 BB NL: nut flush with paired bored

Poker Stars - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.05/$0.10 Blinds - 5 Players - (LegoPoker HH Converter)

SB: $4.80
BB: $8.75
<u>Hero (UTG): $10.75</u>
CO: $16.55
<u>BTN: $10.25</u>

<font color="black">Reads: </font><font color="blue">villian is 21.74/4.35/0.53 for 92 hands</font>

<font color="black">Preflop:</font> Hero is dealt K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (5 Players)
<font color="red">Hero raises to $0.40</font>, CO folds, BTN calls $0.40, SB calls $0.35, BB folds

<font color="black">Flop:</font> ($1.30) K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 Players)
SB checks, <font color="red">Hero bets $1.00</font>, BTN calls $1.00, SB folds

<font color="black">Turn:</font> ($3.30) Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players)
Hero checks, <font color="red">BTN bets $1.25</font>, <font color="red">Hero raises to $3.00</font>, BTN calls $1.75

<font color="black">River:</font> ($9.30) K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 Players)
<font color="red">Hero ???</font>, <font color="red">BTN ???</font>

Questions:

1. Should i be afraid of the paired bored and hence a possible full house?

2. Was my check raise enough in value? Looking back I think maybe $4 would have been better?

3. How should I approach the river from here?

1.) Short answer: No, there are more important things to look at in this hand.

2.) Qs completes every draw out there (yours being the best). Try to get all the money in on the turn. Lead the turn for the size of the pot and attempt to re-raise all-in. If he just calls, lead the river again for value.

3.) Crappy spot because of turn action. But you definately need to lead out.

just as point of fact, the nut flush is holding 9 10 spades.

Agree with the last poster though, value bet every time.

Is that not a "straight flush" not to be confused with a A high "flush"

No way I'm checking the turn.
Sure c/r'ing LOOKS sexy, but:
You are not geting max value doing it. Make a PSB and pray for him to raise, so you can shove.
It would feel awful if he checked behind wouldn't it.
Shove the river
