Default 100NL misplayed TT

villain seems solid (no stats). fold flop? i call turn because i'm nearly getting the 4:1 i want and i think the rest of his stack is going in if he has AJ or a set.

Uncalled bet of $0.85 returned to Hero

edit: looking back i'm not sure why i only bet $7 on the flop. i think it's because that's my standard continuation bet with 1 caller (i usually raise to $4). should've been $9-$12.

If you think the turn is a fold, you should fold the flop imo. Your implied odds on the turn are probably bigger actucally.

If you call the flop and hit your straight on the turn, there's more than enough room for villain to get away from the hand, he can't fold on the river getting 4:1.

Villain ought to bet the river with a better hand so I like the river bet. He's definately betting a straight and will probably bet with AA/JJ too (and these are unlikely given preflop), so there's not much he can have that beats us. If he happens to have 77 this time, so be it. Giving him 4:1 you will be ahead way more than 50% when he calls.

really? if i'm folding anywhere i think it's the flop. after the turn he has to be nearly on air to fold the river, so my implied odds are pretty nice.

i look at his small turn bet 2 ways.

1, he has a QQ type hand that really hates to see that ace, incase i floated him with AK.

2, he has a set or AJ and really hopes i floated him with AK and wants to induce a raise/shove from me.
