Default Bubble Play Strategy

I have been reviewing my results lately and have noticed a LOT of times I have finshed just outside the top 3 at 4th. I think this is because I don't have a good strategy when I get down to this stage in a tourney. I know what constitues strong and weak cards early on, but don't know how to loosen up sufficiently in later stages.

Are there any guides out there or advice that veterans can offer?

I play mainly $3 turbo sngs at PS.

Cheers.

very broad question, alot of it comes down to ICM, get sngwiz or something (30day free trial) and evaluate your 4handed bubble play

only help i can offer is that do not open push when the bubble is at 100/200 (no antes) without a premium hand, 2.5xbb raise will take it down most of the time and also keep you out of trouble.

don't push UTG into bigger stacks

open up a lot on the sb when its folded to you, be careful of bigger stacks that are calling stations in the bb because they will look you up with almost any ace or broadway cards..

really its too general of a question, i could keep on going so make a more specific question

I was under the impression that <10bb = Push/Fold? No?
Just curious as to when there are situations that this rule should be broken.

Am I wrong in sticking to the <10bb rule so stubbornly?
How about if you have a premium such as AA and KK? I just push these at the minute since I push so often I guess anything else looks an obvious monster.

Rest of the advice is standard of course

at $3, moving allin with a stack <10BB's with good hands and not pushing into bigger stacks when you're on the bubble (unless u have a very strong hand) will probably give you some better results.

You need to learn/understand ICM, so get sngpt, sngegt or sngwiz and play around with it for a while.
