KJo in BB (1/2 6m)
I've only been at the table for about 10 or 12 hands.
Utg has already been donktastic but i haven't seen him raise anything yet. Button sat down just as I did and has already dropped 15bb w/o going to showdown. No read at all on sb. Did I go wrong here anywhere? I really wasn't sure about leading the river. (or just calling pf for that matter.) Re: KJo in BB (1/2 6m)
IMO ... bet-3bet flop or check raise ... call and donk the turn if you don't want to show 'that' much strength
no way in hell am i giving some guy credit for a big hand when they raise on a two tone flop (especially a retard) ... of course you could probably set up a turn check raise against this guy (that would be fun) |

Re: KJo in BB (1/2 6m)
I am 3-betting the flop. Especially given the button's read, he is raising alot worse that tp if your read is correct. Get the money in while you can.
Also, those who are advocating a c/r, with 2 people to act behind this is such a bad plan as it is easy to get this checked behind, which would be a total disaster. In terms of absolute position, you are basically in the hijack with CO and button handing around. I am not c/r-ing in the hijack ever. |

c/r flop as played 3bet it. as played bet turn as played c/r turn river and preflop is fine [/ QUOTE ] Could you explain to a relative noob why it is better to c/r the flop here than to bet out? |
