Default AKo on AK8r flop...

Greetings. Here's a hand I was involved in at our monthly home NLHE tourney last night:

Relatively early in tourney. I have not voluntarily entered a pot yet. This is around the 9th hand of the night. Villian has won two small pots w/o SD & has been active, maybe LAA. Blinds 25/50.

Chip stacks (participants only):

Hero (B): t$1900
Villian (BB): t$1680

Hero dealt AKo:

Folded around to Hero on button
Hero <font color="red"> Raises to t$175 </font>
SB folds
Villian calls t$125

Pot t$375, flop AK8r
Villian checks
Hero <font color="red"> Raises t$500 </font>
Villian <font color="red">Raises t$1005 to t$1505 and is all in</font>

Pot now t$2380. Calling leaves me with t$210 left.

My thought process is that I'm only beat by AA, KK, or 88. AA and KK can only happen one way each. The pocket 8's can happen 6 ways. Only 8 hands can beat me. If I put him on 88, then I have 6 outs (~7:1 dog). AA or KK leaves me drawing dead. Anything else practically makes no sense to me.

What to do?

Result below:

<font color="white"> Hero calls $1305. Predictably, Villian had 88, which held up. </font>
