Lucky Lady Card Room in San Diego

I'm going to be at SDSU for a couple months this summer so I figured I'd look for some card rooms in the area. The Lucky Lady Card Room is only about a mile away. Has anyone been there? How are the limit hold'em games? How easy is it to get 8/16 or something higher going?

ive only seen 3/6 there, the same goes for the California Club which is actually closer to SDSU (on El Cajon Blvd). Your best bet is one of the Indian places, Viejas being the closest. For 8/16 limit and up, Oceans 11 is your only option, about 40 minutes up the 5.

Is there an easy way to get to oceans 11 without a car or will I just have to rent one?

You'll need to rent one. Also, try to avoid the 5 during rushhour 4-7, traffic gets pretty bad and could easily double your driving time.

the lucky lady is the california club.

they have 3-6 4-8 8-16 all with a Kill.

also 1-3 and 5-5 No Limit.

I used to play there all the time, but its been about five years since I was there. I loved the place. Good action, good staff, overall well run place. Tell Terri I still want to marry her. :-)
