I think you played it well, particularly nice check on the river. Maybe I might have check-called the turn but thats just me. If his reraise was stronger he could have maybe taken you off your hand.

Flop fine, turn I'd check and see if I get a good price/free card, lead river.

You have to lead the river here. Don't let him check behind you and show just a King. If he has a big hand as well, the money is going in anyway.

And if you do check raise...just put the extra 9 bucks in yourself.

I think the check on the river was smart after the aggression shown by your opponent on the turn it was likely he would lead out on the river, particularly after two seemingly harmless 5s had fallen on turn and river.

Especially since we got no reads on villain, we don't know what the minraise means. It does not necessarily mean a big hand. It could mean: I have a K but I don't know if it's good. Please check the river for me. Then I'll check behind, kthx.

Let's say Villain has a full house or KJ here. Then it does not matter whether Hero leads out or not. Because if Hero bets, Villain will shove. And if Hero checks, Villain bets, after which Hero will shove.

I'd have checked the turn, and I'd lead the river

Villain's probably not floating this flop, and the turn 5 doesn't change much, so if betting didn't take it down on the flop, it's not likely to do so on the turn either. So that's why I agree that checking the turn is better.

As for the river, I think leading works better than C/R unless he happens to have KJ exactly. So lead.
