Default OT: PT/HUD.. how valuable?

I've been a regular at the 6.5's 6-9 tabling without HUD/PT, i recently got copies of it, but my computer runs slowly and crashes with PT. How valuable is hud? what kind of roi benefit can i expect from the extra reads? what kind of roi is obtainable with/without it at the 6.5's on FTP?

A few weeks ago I would of said it was basically useless, but recently I've found that it is extremely helpful especially in spots where you are deciding to shove over limpers in the middle levels of the tournament. If you are multitabling theres not really any way to keep track of someone who limps 25% compared to someone who hasn't limped the whole tournament and being able to pick up some of that dead money is very helpful.

There are plenty of other uses but thats probably the biggest thing I get out of it.

So with 27% rakeback, 26% roi is obtainable with it and 20% without?

No idea how much it can help in terms of ROI, but it shouldn't improve your ROI like that if you really have a 20% roi to begin with. It is helpful though.

ot- hey kevin i started pushing AK with limpers in the 25/50 level (usually always push 50/100 regardless), and I've had some really funny call downs, A2-AQ, etc. Never have I been facing AA/KK, and only a few coinflips, all because of you sir, well done!

op - PAHUD/PT are so important. I can't tell you how easy it is to put players on hands while multitabling with it. You know whose the rocks and who are the aggrodonkeys.

How does Kevin's statement equate to "so that means HUD will increase your roi from 20 to 25%? There is no one here who can accurately tell you how much your ROI will change once you start using a HUD.

It will most likely pay for itself if you're a profitable player. What else would you need to know?

it probably changes my true roi by around 115%. it really helps against huge idiots with crazy vpips when you are 16 tabling and otherwise would have no idea how loose they are.

The more tables you are playing, the more value the HUD has.

if you can use them, do it. theyre going to help, not hurt. no one has conducted research and analysis as to how ROI is specifically effected with/without HUD, its person/level/everything dependent. while HUD is by no means crucial to sng success, it is certainly a big aid. I would not be able to play more than 12 tables without a HUD.
