Default NBA -> FIBA rules?

Today the NCAA added another foot to the 3 point line. Most coaches agreed with this change but some said that it wouldn't eliminate crowding in the post unless they expanded the lane. This got me thinking. How would the NBA be different if they changed to a FIBA style trapezoid for the lane? Or if they adopted other FIBA rules?

I really dont know much about basketball other than the fact that I love to watch it. Would international players be even more successful? Would post players gain or lose value?

I assume that players like Shaq and Duncan would lose value since they'd have to play a little further from the bucket? Would wing players gain value or would good big men just be a little less valuable?

I think exclusively back-to-the-basket post players (the few there are left) would lose value b/c they'd be getting fed further from the hoop. Post guys that can face up and have some quicks (Duncan, Rasheed, even a guy like Olajuwon in his day) would probably gain value with more space to work with down low.
