Flopped bottom set. Crazy river action. Easy fold?
No stats. Only note is that a few hands or orbits earlier, SB called my PFR in SB with J2o and bet into multiway pot on 235 flop.
I'm wondering how you guys play this hand. Without doing anything fancy like checkraising here, these guys defintitely won't put me on a set and could easily raise me on the river with two pair. One of them that is. However, since a second guy came out of nowhere and checkraise after a bet and a raise, I begin to hate my hand. Is this an easy river fold? Re: Flopped bottom set. Crazy river action. Easy fold?
I would stubbornly pay it off, because a flopped set is a damn good hand and I've been seeing a lot of retarded aggression in my recent dabbling in 0.5/1. That said, if UTG doesn't have AJ, then you have to kind of laugh at his river cap, because that and J9 are exactly the hands that SB is representing with his river check/3-bet. It's possible he slowplayed 98, too.
