Default Poker Academy

guys-- is Poker Academy a good learning tool for 6-max low limit holdem, or is it too far from reality?

I would just start at the micro limits, you can use your HUD, get some PT stats, get used to the site you are playing on, play more hands via multitabling. When real money is involved, you will compete harder, and even if its $5 buy in, you will deal with frustrations of the short limit game. And frustration and how you deal with it is really the name of the game here.

I don't know if the software at PA is any good or not, but either way, I would just jump in. That said, I played a lot of hands of Turbo Texas Holdem for about a month before I started playing live poker, this was like 8 years ago and there was nothing like micro short games and HUD's back in the old days, lol.
