Default AKo 40-80 live.

I raise black AKo UTG. guy on my left cold calls. he is winning player that i havent played against much. i just know that he plays very tight.

everyone folds. heads up

flop

Ad 6h 3h

I bet, he raises, I 3 bet, he 4 bets, I call

I dont think he would float me with a small pair. game is playing very tight.

Turn

9h

I check, he bets, I ????

i think it matters in this particular hand if you have the A or Kh... i assume you have neither... if you do have neither then AhKh or AhQh is probably his most likely hand... i might put in a 5th bet if there's no cap on that flop... AA is possible though also unlikely...

the heart really sucks but i would call down... if there's no possibility of him playing AQ this way then i might consider folding and based on your read it's a serious consideration...

is a very tight player going to cold call an utg raise with AQo? if he does its prob AQh based on the flop play. what is this very tight player 4 betting with on the flop? you call the turn bet, you might have to call the river then to. drawing dead. I might call bc im a calling station, but like blindside said, folding is a serious consideration.

What can you be looking at here? $160 to maybe chop if he has AK and he might be on the freeroll for the flush. He might have it already w/ A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] but I'd expect a 3-bet pf from that hand. He could've just called your pf raise with AA. This is a bad spot you're in against a player who 'plays very tight', imo. Probably best to fold.

wow I wish people believed me when I cap hands like these, instead they cap me right back with their A8o and i have to check-fold my 77 on the river.

What was the outcome?

I would assume AA or AQh according to your read. I would call the turn and call the river.

Having the A or K of hearts here is huge. With either I make a calldown the whole way. Without either its tough but prolly let it go.

Straight draw did whiff though, so if he is capable of making multi-street semi-bluffs, I think you have to make a call down here.

b/f turn? as played I call turn and river, you are only beat by a set by this player imo. If he is winning/tight I dont think he would go crazy with a naked flush on the flop, and i also agree that he would 3bet AhKh. But I like bet/fold imo.
