Default TOO MANY CARBS!!!!!!

Im trying to cut down, and so while doing my resistance training am also going on a SEMI Atkins diet, which is marginally sucessful considering i can eat a lot and am losing fat.

However when i go to bed i always feel starving.
If i decide to get up and eat i look in the cupboard and here are my options.

Bread
Pasta
Rice
Meat- ham, chicken
Cereal
Chocolate
Biscuits

Everything is full of carbs and its driving me CRAZY!

What sort of diet would you recommend because at the moment i only feel comfortable eating meat.

Ps, I dont eat eggs and am going to buy brown rice.

cottage cheese pre bed...

but i dont understand people that say they want to go low carb, but have closets full of carbs and crap food...if you want to go low carb then your carbs should come from fruits and veggies...limiting your starchy carbs to the meal following workout and only on resistence training days...

I'm trying to lower my carb intake as well, and I am trying to eliminate the sandwich for lunch that I have done my whole life. What could I have for lunch that doesn't require heating, is filling, and contains minimal carbs?

When I did low carb I used to keep cheesecakes on hand all the time. They're perfect for snacking and for taking care of any sweet tooth. They're very easy to make without a crust, or you can make a crust out of crushed nuts and butter.

my dinner is usually a chicken breast with some peppers and brocolli...i cook a bunch on sunday and just put it in tupperware for the week...

I agree with this. In addition to fruits and veggies, I also get some carbs from brown rice and sweet potatoes.
