Default Big decision at 2/5 at MGM

Hi All,

Normally I stick to the MTT area, and have been a limit player for the last 3 years. However, lately I've moved to NL, and have maybe 20 hours of play (aside from this weekend) at NL, probably up a small amount. I read NL Holdem theory and practice on my plane flight to vegas on thursday. Anyway, this hand is really bugging me, and I'd appreciate any feedback.

I'm playing 2/5 at MGM (500 max buy in), it's about 3am on sunday.

Villian #1 is brand new at the table, literally this is his second hand.

Villian #2 I hadn't really seen out of line, although he sorta looked like a gambler type. I had the feeling that earlier he'd been gambling it up with another terrible player (I sat down about an hour before this other god awful player left) but after that he'd been pretty quiet.

Anyway, I get J [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]J [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
I have about $750

UTG limps (he has me covered), folds to me in the CO and I make it 20 to go. SB (Villian #1) calls, UTG repops to 100. I call, as I know his hand is pretty much AA or KK, and know that I can take his stack if I hit a set. Villian #1 also looked like he would call if I called. Comments on this thinking appreciated (I mean is calling 80 here too much for set value?). Villian #1 calls.

Flop:

Villian #1 insta-pushes, Villian #2 insta-calls. What's my action?

Obviously push or fold.

I know that a lot of this is read dependent, but I'd like to get some thoughts. Earlier in the night I had seen someone at the other table (who knew the limp/reraiser here as they had been talking, ie they might play similarly) I was at limp/reraise KK, so I really believed this was a highly probable holding. Normally I'd never lay down a set but...

Thanks for any comments.

Push. Based on your read of UTG there is a wide range of hands he could be on other than KK or Q 10 ... sounds like AK is a possibility (and more likely) -- I know you don't really have a read on Villian # 1 ... but there's 300 in the pot ... Villian #1 only has $400 more ... you build a $500 side pot with UTG.

If you get caught with set over set or a flopped straight ... you get stacked and that's the way it is. The other possibility I see here a lot with people who like to make moves is A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]J [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. In any event you're a probable winner. If not ... rebuy.

Just to clarify, most of my decision was based on MTT play where this type of limp/reraise is AA like 70% of the time and KK 20% and 10% "other." I'd only seen the limp/reraise once on this trip and it was KK that time (about 2 hours before this hand, I had QQ and we got it all in), as I mentioned. I think I remember seeing it earlier in the trip once or twice, but it was AA or KK that time too.
