Re: 3/6 PS Can\'t Stop Won\'t Stop... (Pt. 2)
eh, maybe this is tight but I think you see TT or 77 a lot here; his line is consistent with a slowplayed flopped set & I think AQ/AJ (the hands you're presumably value-raising on the river) usually raise this flop given the straight/flush possibilities.

Re: 3/6 PS Can\'t Stop Won\'t Stop... (Pt. 2)
I would check call this river. As played just call the river, he 3bet PF, got capped, raise-capped the turn and is now raising the river, you really think he has AQ and AJ enough here?

I think raising here is like spitting into the wind. Villain is certainly playing this hand like his boat has come in. c/c sounds prudent.

Re: 3/6 PS Can\'t Stop Won\'t Stop... (Pt. 2)
It's bvb, yeah, but at some point you have to stop & think about whether he's really giving you that much action with A2. I do like the turn 3bet & of course call the cap, but I'm check/calling a brick on the river. Or if I did lead I'm clearly not 3betting if he raises again (unless I caught an A or K on the river).

Re: 3/6 PS Can\'t Stop Won\'t Stop... (Pt. 2)
normally it's a c/c on the river. given the blind v. blind situation, it's b/c for me. if i had an idea that villain wasn't aware of this being a blind battle, i would c/c.

[/ QUOTE ] while raising the river might be dumb, i do agree with a bet/call and James' reasons for it. if it wasn't a blind vs. blind situation, I'd swing more towards c/c. |
