Default FTOPS ME 100 left, 22 in big blind

OK theres a bout 100 runners left, the previous hand CO called 2 all ins with 33 and got knocked down to 44k, this hand it folds around to CO who shoves his 44k, blinds are 4k/8k with a 1k ante. We have 95k after posting the bb... it folds to us and we are holding 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] The table has become extremely shove happy lately with everyone trying to build a stack for the home stretch.... We are 95% sure that a pair is ahead here, but is it worth it to willingly race here and give up our fold equity, and restealing options if we lose the race? If the 2s hold up we will have 160k, if we fold we obv have 95k and if we call and lose we have 49k....

thoughts ?

it's not like you have much of a restealing stack after the blinds, this seems like a ridiculously easy math problem after assigning him a wide range, and although i don't know how to do it or want to do it, i'm pretty sure this is a ridiculously easy call and the only way it would be close is if your stack would be in between an opepn shove stack and a resteal stack

ok this seems pretty one-sided, I did call and CO flipped A7.... I lost the hand and the very next hand got moved to a new table, got dealt AQs and reraised all in on a huge stack who opened late and his J5o won. I've been thinking since then that if I just folded the 22 then I shove with AQ and the big stack lays down and I'm still in business... whatever

thanks for the input

You kinda gotta call this with the dead chips in the pot you're getting too good of odds against his range which could be ATC

Yeah - you're obv not very good at poker if you're calling & losing this hand. Pssshh.

Call & win FTW.
