Default Top set QQ deep stacked early in Stars 18k guaranteed

Just moved to this table as I get QQ UTG. 3bet will often be AA/KK/AK here I'd say?

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t30 (9 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

CO (t5630)
Button (t2075)
SB (t3530)
BB (t2815)
Hero (t7430)
UTG+1 (t3480)
MP1 (t1985)
MP2 (t4430)
MP3 (t1630)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
Hero raises to t90, 4 folds, CO raises to t330, 3 folds, Hero calls t240.

Flop: (t705) 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero bets t240, CO raises to t900, Hero ?

What do I do here and why? And is my small bet into pf 3better good?

Bet like 500 into him so that you can more reasonably shove over a raise.

As played, make it like 2400-3000.

You shove, you might see AK hearts here you might see AA,or KK but you shove here to keep him from sensing danger soon enough to do something about it.

A flush draw would bite something awful because its more likely to win than AA or KK.

PF is fine, you either want to shove then and there (not a great idea because most hands that call you are in good shape) or call and play poker on the next two streets.

Flop, you're good here you want to keep raising and at this point he's likely to call a shove.

Okey thanks guys. Due to a misclick I raised to 3800 instead of 2800 and he folded after requesting time. Whether he really had anything or just folded AK I'll never know.

Bet on the flop should be bigger tho?

If you are going to lead into the raiser, bet more. You could also check/call or checkraise a cbet.

As played, I would probably flat call the flop raise and bet or check the turn. However, I seem to be in the minority on that.

I doubt villain folded an overpair. He probably had AK, JJ, or made a loose reraise.

How much should he have bet into the 705 pot on the flop? My standard would be 375 or 400 (IE I generally bet between 1/2 & 2/3 of the pot). Would that be enough, or should it be more like 500-600?

Basically, what's the optimal bet amount when you lead on the flop? Or is that read & hand strength dependant?

Leading out 400 sounds right without reads. Here you might have induced a raise of an aggressive player with your weak looking bet, though.

Call and check/shove the turn.
