raise preflop

you cant fold this without a sick read which you did not provide, id generally be pretty happy to stick it in here.

This is an overpair or AcXc more than enough to jam. Basically 55 or 66 is all the beats you, 34 is highly unlikely. Put it in.

What is the thinking behind raising PF? I'm seriously asking...

not raising pf is fine, it often becomes such a pain w/ hands like 22 and 54s and such that raising pf to isolate two limpers is really over rated unless they fold like clock work, which they probably don't

after UTG raises to $18 a pot sized raise would be $18*3+$24=$78... $36 is hideous.... anyway, get it all in, this board is so drawy, and pf if so screwy that you will see some funky stuff

Raising PF would tend to separate the posers from the real hands as long as you make it a decent size raise. If you don't raise, you allow hands like 34 of clubs to limp in there cheap & flop the nut str8 with a redraw to the absolute nuts. I used that particular hand because I got it about 10 times in a live game this weekend & missed the flop with it everytime.

UTG's range is quite big.. I'd be happy to get it in here. I could imagine that he has an big overpair
