Default Upgrading Laptop RAM

I have a Dell laptop that I want to upgrade to 2 GB of RAM.

It currently has 1GB, consisting of 2 512 sticks(Memory ref. 200-pin DDR2 PC2-4200 533Mhz).

So I need 2 new 1GB sticks.......What's the best price/performance RAM that I can get?

Also, will I see any difference between RAM at 533mhz compared to 667mhz? (my system is - Pentium M 760 2GHz, 2MB Cache, 533MHz FSB )

Thanks for the help

I would check with your manual or Dell and stick only with what is specified. Putting a mis-match in can cause lock-ups.

There is a compatibility check on www.crucial.com. Now you need to make sure that the motherboard on your laptop can support up to 2 GB RAM. Also, im fairly certain if you update the speed of your RAM (667 mhz) that your FSB will limit any actual performance improvements.

My advice: get a desktop
