Default This is how you play JJ with an A on the board

See, most people can't play JJ when the ace comes, because they get nervous. The key is to always project an image of confidence -- you want to intimidate your opponent. I think this is a good example of how to play it.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t20 (9 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

Hero (t1500)
SB (t1500)
BB (t1500)
UTG (t1500)
UTG+1 (t1500)
MP1 (t1500)
MP2 (t1500)
MP3 (t1500)
CO (t1500)

Preflop: Hero is Button with J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
2 folds, MP1 calls t20, 3 folds, Hero raises to t80, SB calls t70, 1 fold, MP1 folds.

Flop: (t200) T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets t120, SB calls t120.

Turn: (t440) A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
SB folds.

Final Pot: t440

What doesn't come across in the hand history is how angry my face is when I lean into the monitor and point at myself. That's basically the key right there.
