I fold preflop quickly, as I don't expect a villain with such stats to pay me off with a worse hand when AQ hits just an A or a Q.

Yes that was my thought to.
If u were calling preflop, how would u play the rest of the hand ?

check/call flop as he could have JJ-KK and be c-betting, but fold turn as I would expect him to check behind with those hands.

Ok. I check/call the flop, and checkfolded the turn when he bet again. In the future im not going to play AQ OPP agaist this type of player.

I like c/r Ahigh flops(without other broadway, the T is the best if there is a 2nd one) because people fold a lot

though this villian doesn't appear to be very loose, and its not a steal position raise either
