KK - Push or Raise situation?
Stars $4/180 - 50 left
I just pushed all in preflop 2 hands in a row on the last orbit after a few limpers...blinds just reached 100/200 and I was short stacked. I showed the second steal from the button to the table (4 limpers, yes - maybe a bad idea) - Q7os. Avg stack is 5500, I am back up to about 3800. UTG+1 is 55%/15%/2AF after 40 hands SB is 60%/9%/1AF after 30 hands CO is very tight/passive after over 300 hands PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t200 (8 handed) internettexasholdem.com Hero (t3815) UTG (t8075) UTG+1 (t5355) MP1 (t3200) MP2 (t11375) CO (t4840) Button (t5375) SB (t14740) Preflop: Hero is BB with K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. 1 fold, UTG+1 calls t200, 2 folds, CO calls t200, 1 fold, SB completes, Hero ??? |

Re: KK - Push or Raise situation?
I'd raise to like 1000-1200.

Raise. 1800 or so should do it.

Re: KK - Push or Raise situation?
Don't push. These guys aren't good enough to make pushing the best play, raise to 1000-1200 sounds right and get it in on the flop/slowplay it some.
If the buy-in were higher, I'd consider pushing instead. |
