Received call from HSBC after i deposit 500$ PS check(problem)

they left a message saying they want to verify some recent activity on my account. yesterday i deposited 500$ check that i received from poker stars. what could the problem be? if they ask me where i received the check what should i say? anyone had this problem.

Tell them it's a refund from your coke dealer. Everything should work out fine.

I use HSBC direct and have never had any problems with PS or even online casino checks.

call them and then post any issues that could come up. It's not a big deal.

they told him that they don't accept checks from online poker sites. Owned.

What's the big deal? Call them back and verify the 'activity.'

If they ask tell them its none of their business where it came from (nicer than that if you want). Then tell them to just put a hold on it till it clears if they want.
