Default NL50 river push

Do you guys like this? Yay or Nay? Villain seemed like a calling station so I figured I quite likely get paid off by most aces.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (8 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

SB ($19.50)
BB ($13.15)
Hero ($58.75)
UTG+1 ($6.05)
MP1 ($159.10)
MP2 ($59.50)
CO ($75.20)
Button ($44.15)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
<font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $2</font>, MP1 calls $2, <font color="#666666">5 folds</font>.

Flop: ($4.75) A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font>
Hero checks, <font color="#CC3333">MP1 bets $3</font>, Hero calls $3.

Turn: ($10.75) K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font>
Hero checks, <font color="#CC3333">MP1 bets $4</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $16</font>, MP1 calls $12.

River: ($42.75) A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font>

Good given your read, tbh i think you'll get paid often enough by trips here. I hope he didnt have an overboat or quads
Maybe leading the turn might be better just to make sure some monies goes in, plus a c/r looks scarier IMO but thats meh.

Ya, he had an overboat which really shocked me considering how the turn played but I don't really care about the result in this case. I've been reading more posts and trying to incorporate pushing in big pots in these kinds of spots and just wanted to make sure that others agreed here. Against a more solid player am I better to try and check raise the river or do I lose too much value do you think?

Thinking about it i probably push this river regardless of the villian, I'd have thought you get paid by AJ/AQ/A10 or a smaller boat enough to make it worthwhile.

You have to go broke here, sucks if he showed up with aces full.
