Well that was a quick 1K
So one of my fav local haunts is now running the bizzaro washington state 40$ spread limit games. I bought in like 600... had trip aces cracked when 72 hit his flush on the river... had K's that turned into a K high 4 flush beat by a straight flush... Rebuy!!... basically... i got my ass handed to me in about an hour... 1K might not be significant to all you ballas but it's about 25% of my bankroll... ouch. Goodnight.

[ QUOTE ]
don't play in bars [/ QUOTE ] Who said i was playing in a bar? I was playing in a cardroom, and because the laws in WA are weird it's a 1-1-2 game, but its spread limit so you can only raise the current bet 40$ max. So if a guy bets 10$ i can raise to 50$ he can raise to 90$ etc. Its weird, first time i have played that way. I usually play in cash NL home games but it was a dead night for those. Anyway, the hand with the 72 was a guy bluffing me with a full on reraise knowing he had outs... he didn't think i had the ace until i repopped him but he had so much money in the pot he decided to call and see the river making his flush. Not a huge bad beat but the guy hitting his one out inside straight flush draw on the river... that one got me tilting. The two players to my left were regs of this type of game at another casino and they demolished me after that... picked off my bluffs, read me like a book when i cont bet. I didn't say i took a bunch of one and two out beats... i said i got my ass handed to me and i did... it was pathetic. I played like crap and donked off 20% (not 25% as previously mentioned) of my bankroll in less than an hour of play. |
