Default $600NL Big Hand deep vs. a passive fish

Villain is like 63/8/0.5 and doesn't like the fold button pf or post flop but rarely shows aggresion.

We played this hand earlier

Party Poker
No Limit Holdem Ring game
Blinds: $3/$6
5 players
Converter

Stack sizes:
Hero: $1227.60
CO: $726
Button: $579
SB: $529.95
BB: $1978.20

Pre-flop: (5 players) Hero is UTG with J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
<font color="#cc0000">Hero raises to $22</font>, 3 folds, BB calls.

Flop: 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] ($47, 2 players)
BB checks, <font color="#cc0000">Hero bets $32</font>, BB calls.

Turn: 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] ($111, 2 players)
<font color="#cc0000">BB bets $12</font>, Hero calls.

River: J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] ($135, 2 players)
<font color="#cc0000">BB bets $30</font>, <font color="#cc0000">Hero raises to $100</font>, BB calls.

Results:
Final pot: $335
<font color="#ffffff">Hero shows Jh Jc </font>
<font color="#ffffff">BB shows 9h Js </font>

Now the hand I'm asking about. Should I have got more in on the flop/turn. Should I just call the river?

kinda thin, but i don't mind it if you can fold to a push and you're pretty certain he's not going to push with a worse 9.

i think a turn raise would be better, but given the read i like your line. unless he underbets normally, his bets are reppin T9/J9 more than K9/A9.

I would just call the river. His play shows real strength, especially considering history.

I don't think you can ever fold. Vilain might value stack himself with 9T. I'd raise the turn for value.

If you want a place to be able to get away from the hand, I'd raise the turn and fold to a push.

I'm not liking the way he bet real small with the nuts in hand 1 and now he's doing it again. If this is the way he bets all the time then I like it, if I have no info on this then I just call the turn and river.

Reraise the flop and get the money in.

agreed

No way he 3-bets you on the river with anything you have beat. I mean i'd expect him to just call this river with 55.
