help with understanding stats:
example:
"villian is 28/12/1 over 500+ hands" what does the each number for the villain stand for? 28 - 12 - 1 - and why does 55/5/1 = awfull? ~vlad p.s. i know that the stats are taken form the pokertraker, but i am haven't gotten it yet. will do when i start playing more cash. would like to just be able to understand some post. |

[/ QUOTE ] VP$IP %/Pre-flop raise %/Total aggression Factor VP$IP % (% that you voluntarily put $$ in the pot, blinds aren't voluntary) of 55 is high Pre-flop raise % of 5% is low Aggression Factor (computation of how aggressive player is on all streets) of 1 is low Basically this player is loose/passive and you'd prefer to be tight/aggressive or loose/aggressive depending on what you're playing (cash games, tournaments, particular variant of poker, etc.) Fyi, a player that calls with lots of hands but doesn't raise much is one of the most profitable players to have at your table. Is the 55/5/1 you? If so, better make some changes. If not, seek out this player and sit with him whenever you can. |

haha no im not thet 55/5/1 player, just saw someone say that it was "awful", now i see why. i bet i am 45/30/3 in cash games, just an assumption on the stats without ANY stats [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img] for fun. |
