Default chewing carbs less

another noob question

Any merit to chewing your carbs less to slow down digestion? Any downside to chewing less?

I'm 6'0" and 173 pounds. Skinny fat != fat.

The image is supposed to be of choking. If you don't chew your food you might choke. You aren't going to metabolize fewer calories or metabolize them slower by not chewing as much. By chewing you might actually slow down and not eat so much which actually would make a difference.
