Your hand already has very good showdown value and a CRAI is going to stink because you will have to fold. So I check the turn.

If you did not have 2nd pair then I would take a stab at the pot.

i think you can even bet 900 here on the turn and see what happens. i'm not too worried if he calls since a call is super weak and looks like an Ax with no pair, maybe 8s or something.

I fold pf and also to the minraise. I would hate to be raised with this draw so I check the turn as played.

My thoughts exactly. A CRAI will be a disaster for us here.

Yeah, the more I think about this, the more I think you have to fold to the minraise. When you hit the flop with T8s, it'll almost always be a draw or something 2nd-pair-ish, which you won't feel good about getting it all-in on the bubble with. So if you call PF, you're basically hoping to either flop a monster, or flop one pair and hope it gets checked through on all three streets. Neither seems very likely.

double fold
blinds are too tiny to be bothered with with that hand

Given your read that the table was folding to steals PF the raise to t500 is not horrible. Once you get min rasied then fold (u got caught). Next time you raise PF have a hand that you can shove back or call a shove with.

As played you hand has too much showdown value so check it down from here.

I agree about folding to the Min-Raise, but as played i would fire a probe bet on the flop (about 1000 or so). If u get raised u can Fold otherwise you are taking down a nice pot.
When you check the Flop I think it is also right to check the Turn. If he is planning on trapping Check-Raising you, then he has to bet the River where you might hit your flush.

I don't mind the initial raise fold to the reraise, which isn't a minraise. Hero raises 300 on top of 200 villain raise 500 on top of the raise to 300.
As played check turn.
