Default What if Michael Vick trained for 500M speed skating?

Could he win the gold with three months of intensive training? (or take your favorite NFL speedster - S. Moss, etc.)
How long would it take?

Have you ever skated before in your life? You must have not or else you'd understand just how retarded a question this is.

Im just saying that Joey Cheek is nowhere near the athlete M Vick or S Moss is. So i think with a few months of training they would be wearing gold

Considering Michael Vick has been traiining to be an professional quaerterback for about a decade and he still isn't a good one, I don't see why he would succeed quickly in any other endeavor.

Bigdog, speed on dirt has nothing to do with speed on ice. The Olympic speed skaters spend year round training for their sport. I think they have a feeling what muscles they should be working on.

He could succeed in many endeavors that were, unlike quarterbacking, purely athletic.

Lets see.
Short bursts of speed vs. speed+endurance+technique.
Never been on skates vs. training for years.
I'll guess never.
